In 2020, stundumstudio literally lighted up the Icelandic wool. The designer duo, Bjarmi and Kristín continued working with the Icelandic wool and this year they put the Icelandic wool into a whole new concept by making the wool solid.
Focusing mainly on new material for Design March 2020, stundumstudio showcased a whole new concept idea, regarding the Icelandic wool.
For the past two years, stundumstudio’s designers: Bjarmi and Kristín have been researching the Icelandic wool to the fullest, playing with the material, testing it’s limits and making prototypes. This resulted in the Icelandic wool in solid form.
By making the wool solid, the designers see a bright future for the material by re-evaluating it for a whole new target group.
The designer duo showcased fresh, different and a fun side of the material.
